This year Mother’s Day is sure to take on a whole new meaning for all of us. My mom lives 5 minutes away and yet I have not seen her in almost two months. So, when I think of Mother’s Day, there is nothing I want more, than to make her feel extra extra special. And I have a feeling I’m not the only one who feels this way. So, I wanted to come up with some gift ideas and activities that are not just your typical “here are some flowers, love you mom” present. I wanted to be as helpful to y’all as possible, so I created these four complete gift guide templates. All you have to do is choose one based on what your mama is into and roll with it! I hope this takes a bit of stress off your plate and puts a big smile on your mama’s face!
ONE // THE FASHION LOVER MOM
Nothing better for a fashionista than receiving something custom made, with her monogram on it! Trust me, put a monogram on something and your mom will go crazy for it. Better yet, put it on something gorgeous and unique and she’ll thank you twice as much. Activity idea: Do a virtual accessory organizing session together. Some of the best stories my mom ever shared with me where while we were sitting in her closet, organizing her jewelry.
TWO // THE GARDEN LOVER MOM
Activity idea: Plan a facetime or Zoom call and do a planting party together with your mom. Since she will have all the essentials, she can teach you or/and your kiddos how to plant herbs and other plants.
THREE // THE KITCHEN MAVEN MOM
If you can’t be together, give your mom everything she needs to host a fabulous Zoom happy hour with you! Some wine from Usual (love this mix 6 bottle pack!), along with everything she needs for a yummy and chic charcuterie board. Even the perfect wine glass to cheers with, for making this special memory together.
FOUR // THE BEAUTY LOVER MOM
Create a spa day that you can enjoy while chatting on the phone. You can fill her in on all the new beauty trends while she tries out her NuFace device! I am including this amazing ‘spa at home’ package from my favorite spa the Burke Williams spa. It includes their tea, which is literally the yummiest I’ve ever tried!
I hope you liked these ideas and can implement these pieces into creating your perfect Mother’s Day. “It’s the thought that counts” phrase has never been truer. Hoping I can give my mom her gift along with a giant hug this Mother’s Day……..but I’ll settle for a virtual one.
