A few months ago, I had the pleasure of working with the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay, and the Iris and Light team to create imagery and video content for the newly renovated spaces inside the hotel. I’ve been a regular guest here for the past 5 years or so, always marking special occasions like Valentine’s Day and wedding anniversaries with a staycation, or just making a special weekend out of a random saturday night when both of the girls are at a sleepover. Living only 20 minutes away from the property, Eric and I love to call it our little special getaway, so when the team reached out to work on this project together, I was thrilled to help showcase this truly special property, as well as get to work with the incredibly talented Iris and Light team, having marveled at the magic they capture all over the world.
Out of all the newly renovated spaces, my favorite is hands down the spa. From the moment you enter the space, it truly feels like you are a million miles away from all of your concerns. I love the stunning hues and textures of the different areas and the special elements like a sound bath ritual that the hotel offers. This is the perfect little escape while your hubby is golfing in the morning.
