I needed a little whimsical moment to get me out of my groundhog day home mode, so I put on a new summer dress, added my favorite Victoria Emerson cuffs and bracelets and set out on a little adventure. It’s amazing how sometimes it’s the close to home places that bring you the most joy. This magical little spot is inside the Filoli Gardens, is only 15 minutes away from our home, and a place I have found so much peace in lately. I just wish I had discovered it sooner! And this happy little bench in the middle of “nowhere” has been a spot I’ve written numerous blog posts in and had long deep talks with my best friend, while social distancing. So, I wanted to spend a moment here, at golden hour, capturing my favorite accessories in the glow of the setting sun.

Recounting all the shoots I’ve done wearing Victoria Emerson pieces (here, here, and here), I’m realizing just how long I’ve been a fan of the brand and all the places my sparkly collection has gone. I have this space to be creative and share my favorite finds, and have moments like these, where a whimsical summer night is just a camera click away. Blog or not, I’m a firm believer that accessories make the girl.
