I am a sucker for a good pencil skirt, and no one does it better than one of my new fave discoveries from across the pond Kingdom & State. In my opinion, the fit is the most important part of a good, well structured pencil skirt, and that, aside from the print is my favorite thing about this one. It feels like a throw back to another era where wearing these type of pieces on a Monday to the office was standard and women were just so ladylike. I paired this piece with my other current favorite, this from my own store (Shop Lombard & Fifth) which just got all of our new pieces in for fall and winter. It was love at first sparkle with this piece. Just when I sadly thought statement pieces might not be big this season, J Crew and many other of my favorite stores came out with their fall lines and got me happy to see those big gems large, in charge and ruling fall!
