OUT OF THE BOX HOLIDAY STYLE
Glitz, glam, lace and sparkle. Those are the typical words I think of when I start getting excited about holiday style. But let’s set the Little Black Dress aside for a minute and think outside the box! Holiday glam can mean many things, but only one must: stand out from the crowd! So I’ve raked my fashionista brain and Pinterest to bring you some out of the box holiday style ideas, mine included.
No LBD here! This look actually included a little lace romper (yup, I told you it was outside the box!) worn under my black slacks. This creates a more sleek look (think body suit, so no unsightly bunching), also letting you repurpose pieces you wouldn’t normally think to wear over the holiday season.
So let’s dive it! The first holiday trend I love, which bends the norm is “Borrowing From the Men”. I LOVE a chic suit, and this year this trend is on in a big way. Think sequins and embellishments for your holiday look. Here are a few of my favorites:

My next out of the box look is pairing two opposites. Think Cinderella meets tomboy. Tulle skirts with sporty tops, but of course with a holiday twist! Remember, the most important part is to keep it anything but boring!

And the final out of the box look I think slays every time is the Statement Jumpsuit. This one is a head turner every time, everywhere. Just be careful to not stray from the chic line into cheesy zone.
