Flower Invasion Moment | Ferragamo

ferragamo flower explosion

A few weeks ago, I was delighted to attend a special in-store event in San Francisco, hosted by one of my all-time favorite brands – Ferragamo. To make it even more swoon worthy for this bloom lover, the theme of the event was celebrating Ferragamo’s spring collection, “Flower Invasion”, with famed florist Lewis Miller creating breathtaking bouquets for the attendees as they perused gorgeous spring pieces. I was in flower heaven!

This collection is such a standout, between the design elements, completely unique to the brand, to the gorgeous innovative floral prints which are beyond on trend and in the same vein transcend time. This strong yet feminine take on this spring’s floral craze makes it possible for everyone to have a piece of the trend, without going overboard on the flower power.

Each piece had me gushing. My custom bouquet in hand, I could not help but stop by each bag and shoe to take a closer look. The metallic heel detailing on the shoes are one of my favorite design elements and the gorgeous emblem on the handbags gives such a sense of strong minimalism, while having each and every piece make a statement.

Inspired and in love, I knew I had to create my own ‘flower invasion’ moment, so I reached out to the uber talented Tanya Gyani, for some help. I have been such a fan of her whimsical and intricate floral arrangements, on Instagram, I knew we would immediately be on the same style wavelength. We discussed the colors and the design elements of the items I would be featuring to create the perfect bouquet to compliment them. Tanya’s incredible attention to detail and flare for the unique shone through as she walked through the door, to hand me the magical (and giant) bouquet. “WOW!” was all I could say, as I giddily admired its beauty. It was perfect!

As a blogger, and content creator, I live for those special moments when I get to see my creative vision come to life. There is nothing better than looking through photos after putting so much work into a project, to see what you have in your mind translate in an exact way you envisioned it.

This shoot was so special for so many reasons, and I made sure to really stop and take in the moment. To feature a brand, I have been a fan of since my days in college, leafing through pages of Vogue and day dreaming of Ferragamo bags I was seeing on its pages, is an absolute dream come true. A fashion house, with such a rich history and a global brand presence, it is a true inspiration of longevity and strength in vision. After all, a man who dressed Marilyn Monroe is always a legend in my book!

I hope you enjoyed browsing through this post as much as I enjoyed creating it! Have a great week!
