Before there was Instagram, there were scrap books, and anyone who knows me well will tell you that I had spent a good chunk of my twenties laboring on volumes upon volumes of those, documenting my little family life. And then we moved onto a new era and my color printer got to breathe a sigh of relief.

Being a fashion blogger I am of course a huge fan of social media and photos, but there is a big part of me that still wants something tangible to hold. To feel like the memories I am making are more graspable somehow. And now that my girls are getting older, some of our favorite activities include going though their baby photos. They make me laugh every time, squealing every time “Was I really such a tiny little baby mama?!”

I had first discovered Chatbooks a few years ago and gave a whole lot of them as Christmas gifts one year to family members. So when I heard that they were doing the most irresistible collaboration with one of my all-time faves Rifle Paper Co, I immediately had to have the series. Our girly home decor (sorry Eric! My poor hubby is so outnumbered) is the perfect fit for the dreamy floral prints of the covers. Customers can order as many books as they want, the Rifle Paper Co for Chatbooks collection contains 60 photos each, compiled by post date.

A little pro tip for ya. I have a private IG page that I created just for these books to which I loaded all of my favorite photos of the girls. I linked this account to my Chatbook series. Now my little muffins have a collection of their first years. Full of unforgettable moments, all wrapped in the most special floral goodness of the Rifle Paper Co for Chatbooks collection.

And on another special note, today is Eric’s birthday! So wishing the happiest birthday wishes to my best friend in the world. You are the most wonderful father to our girls I could have ever hoped for. We love you!

-Veronica
