Over the years, I’ve tried countless skincare products, but only a select few have earned a permanent place in my routine. The products on this list have been in rotation for at least year, some well over 5, and I can confidently say they’ve delivered noticeable, consistent results. These are the holy-grail products I will continue to repurchase.

ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Green Fig Cleansing Balm
This cleansing balm melts away makeup and impurities while leaving my skin soft and hydrated. The light green fig scent is so yummy and gives off a spa vibe. I’m usually not a fan of scented skincare, but this one is so subtle, it gets extra points. What sets it apart from other cleansers is its ability to cleanse thoroughly without stripping my skin. Highly recommend for fellow dry skin gals.

KIEHL’S Better Screen UV Serum SPF
I am a self-professed Goldilocks of SPF—this is one skincare category that has frustrated me the most. I’m diligent about sun protection, but finding a sunscreen that performs well under makeup and re-applies smoothly throughout the day has been a struggle. Many either cake up, dry out my skin, or don’t layer well. This Kiehl’s UV Serum truly hits all the marks and is probably my #1 recommendation on this list. It wears beautifully under makeup, feels like it’s infusing my skin with goodness, and can be reapplied on top of makeup throughout the day.

OLEHENRIKSEN Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum
I love Olehenriksen products, and this vitamin C serum is a forever favorite. Unlike some vitamin C serums, it smells amazing, brightens and firms the skin, and adds a natural glow. The banana powder-inspired pigments provide an instant brightening effect. I wear this under my Kiehl’s sunscreen daily.

U BEAUTY Resurfacing Compound (All Skin Types)
If you’re looking to give your complexion an all-around boost, this is a great product to commit to. It’s a powerful, all-in-one treatment that brightens, resurfaces, renews, tightens, and smooths the skin. Formulated with stabilized retinol and antioxidants, it helps fade dark spots and fine lines without irritation (a big deal for my sensitive skin). Yes, it’s pricey, but 100% worth it when you factor in how many skin concerns it tackles in one step. I pair it with the U Beauty Super Hydrator.A smaller size HERE

KATE SOMERVILLE Mega-A Skin Transforming Serum (Normal to Oily Skin)
This advanced retinol serum is a game-changer for reducing fine lines and improving skin texture. It combines microencapsulated retinol with soothing ingredients to minimize irritation. I alternate between this serum and the U Beauty Resurfacing Compound. Why I love it: noticeable results without the typical retinol side effects like flaking or dryness. It’s lightweight but still a powerhouse.

COLEEN ROTHSCHILD Retinol Supreme Night Oil (Dry Skin)
If you have dry skin that breaks out from facial oils, look no further. I swear by this night oil because it’s the only one I’ve tried that doesn’t cause breakouts. Most oils clog my pores, which is frustrating because a good face oil can be a game-changer for hydration. This one quenches dry skin while delivering anti-aging benefits with retinol and essential oils. Perfect for dry and mature skin. *I wouldn’t use all 3 of the above products together daily, (as that would be retinol overload) so a little disclaimer that I use these in rotation weekly or on and off to address specific needs for time of year or travel.

U BEAUTY Super Hydrator
This is my go-to day moisturizer. It’s deeply nourishing but doesn’t feel heavy, locking in moisture for up to 48 hours while leaving my skin plump and dewy. I’ve tried endless moisturizers, and I keep coming back to this one. Best for normal to dry skin. alt text: U BEAUTY Super Hydrator – Best Deep Hydration Moisturizer for Plump, Glowing & Healthy Skin SEO U BEAUTY Super Hydrator – Best Lightweight Moisturizer for Long-Lasting Hydration & Radiance

SKIN CEUTICALS Renew Overnight Dry
This night cream has been part of my routine for years. It’s deeply hydrating and works while you sleep to restore and renew dry skin. It’s rich but not greasy and packed with moisturizing and exfoliating ingredients. Every night, I apply it and wake up to plump, refreshed skin. It’s one of those products I really look forward to using.

Dr. Dennis Gross Plump + Repair Lip Treatment
I first tried this at Sephora while my daughter Grace and I were on one of our “let’s kill some time at Sephora and try all the things” dates. I applied a little from the tester, kept browsing, and a minute later thought, "Whoa—what is this?" It’s a tingly, deeply hydrating lip treatment that plumps, smooths, and repairs dry lips. Infused with peptides and hyaluronic acid, a tiny bit goes a long way. I recommend it to everyone and always have it in my bag.

REVITALASH Eyelash Conditioner
This serum isn’t just for lash growth—it also strengthens and conditions. It’s easy to see why it has a cult following. I use it every morning, and with consistent use, my lashes have become noticeably longer and fuller. Give it a few weeks to see results, and remember: lash serums are a “use it or lose it” product—you have to keep using them daily for continued results.
After years of testing and repurchasing, these skincare staples have truly stood the test of time. Whether you’re looking for hydration, exfoliation, or sun protection, these products deliver real results. If you’re looking to elevate your skincare routine, these are the ones worth investing in. With glowing reviews and proven effectiveness, these holy-grail products are worth every penny.
