Life has been such a hectic mix of juggling, multitasking and not sleeping for the past two months, that I have somehow completely overlooked writing about my big news on this blog! I wanted to wait to share until everything was official, because I think I still can’t believe it’s actually real, but I am now officially a co owner of an online boutique – Shop Lombard & Fifth! Ahh!! Today marks one week since our opening and it has been quiet a thrilling ride so far! My amazing partners (friend + hubby) and came up with the idea over a glass of wine one night, as most of our brain storming sessions usually go. We were shooting around yet another round of ideas, only this one really stuck! I am usually not a risk taker at all, in fact if you ever see me in Vegas, I am probably giving my husband Eric a hard time about betting a $5 hand of black jack. But for some reason this idea just felt right from the start. And ever since, so have the countless hours, (most done late night), that I have poured into it. I can’t tell you how amazing it feels to now see it come to life. And it is true what they say, “Love what you do, and you’ll never work a day in your life”. I could work on this business 12 hours a day if I could and would only be excited to do the same the next day. Hope some day soon that will be a reality. For those of you who have given us absolutely amazing support and feedback on the shop, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
