Nothing makes me feel the festive holiday vibes more than planning a shoot with these two gals! Sarah, Tamryn and I have done so many fun shoots together over the years (like this one and our recent Halloween one) and we always have such a blast coming up with ideas and bringing them to life together. This holiday style shoot was extra special because it was Sarah’s last with us in SF, as she moved to Arizona this week. So, we really took in the moment and had our festive grins on in the frosty SF sunshine as we took these shots.
And what made it even better was wearing holiday dresses from Gal Meets Glam. I’m sure you have been following Julia Engel for years and probably own one of her fabulous dresses by now but if you don’t, let me swoon for a moment! When this line first came out, I of course had to have one of the ultra-feminine, whimsical creations and I’ve loved seeing the monthly new arrivals ever since. But when this holiday style batch came out of the glam GMG oven, I was just over the moon. When I think of what a holiday dress should be, I literally imagine this exact feel. Festive and sweet, and with a classic timeless touch. A dress you can pull out of your closet in 10 years and do a side by side of you wearing in way back way and dawning it again to ring in a special holiday tradition.

I opted for the Beatrix, a timeless sparkler that just felt SO ‘me’. Tamryn, true to her ‘cool girl’ style wore the Nell with the cutest matching jacket and our Sassy Sarah turned up the Sass in the Annabelle dress. I love that the three of us all have such different styles, but they all always seem to go so seamlessly together.
