To say I am always on the go is a huge understatement. From the moment I wake up in the morning my to do list is a mile long and my feet hit the ground running before my first coffee has had a chance to kick in. Being a working mom, who also has a blog, aka a second full time job is challenging to say the least, but with the challenge come incredible opportunities and adventures.
What I have been trying to do lately is showing myself a little more self-care. (Ok that’s pretty amazing!) I snagged myself some girly metallic keds and have been wearing them on repeat ever since they arrived at my door. I’m usually not a casual shoe game person, but these tennies have completely transformed my spring style lately! Of course I went for the blush, because….well I guess I’m predictable, but look at how many other swoon worthy options there are! I think I’ll be picking up the grey metallic Keds next.
When I truly respond to a brand I love learning about their history and finding out more information on the Keds brand really gave me such insight to what a historic brand it is. This global brand has been around since 1916, created specifically for ladies, which is just mind-blowing, considering how challenging it is to sustain and grow a brand in today’s oversaturated market. There is something so romantic about the thought of wearing shoes the design of which has literally spanned generations.
I love how I can stay true to my feminine aesthetic in these metallic Keds, while giving myself that extra edge, and a feeling of being able to conquer my day better and faster! Styling them with everything from feminine midi skirts to fun loud prints, I really feel like it’s that game changing shoe that can take you anywhere. Our whole family is heading to Europe in June and I have already started planning some fun outfits, paired with these keds, which I can’t wait to share!
