Nothing better than blogging while sitting at a little café in Soho and pretending I get do this every day. But doing even a short four day trip to NY – well, I’ll take it! There is such a countless amount of inspiration everywhere I look, it’s almost overwhelming, in the best way possible. Living in a big city like San Francisco, I should feel like I get the full ‘city’ experience every day, but there is just something about New York that has my heart. That’s why I had to include a piece of it when naming my blog and merge the two – Lombard Street from SF and Fifth Avenue from NY. Every time I’m here I get such a surge of energy, I just can’t get anywhere else. Other than exploring different neighborhoods, I’ve loved dragging my husband around to shoot blog photos, which he has obliged doing under less protest than usual. This has of course been done with lots and lots of food breaks in between, which is also my favorite part of NY. As we sit and enjoy our countless apps and over orders I admire my newly acquired cuff from Gorjana. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Gorjana herself at an event held by RewardStyle. Listening to her story was both so inspirational and motivating. After ten years of creating beautiful pieces, this jewelry brand still surprises me with their new additions, each one more covetable than the one before it.
