The big day is finally here! I can put the “it’s finished!” stamp on our girls’ floral bathroom project! There is honestly nothing that gives me a better feeling than when a concept I have in my head turns out the same way in real life. Especially when it comes to home décor!
If you caught the ‘before’ post I shared a few weeks back {HERE}, you saw the endless options I loved from Wayfair, who we teamed up with for this floral bathroom project, for everything from wallpaper to hardware. The possibilities were truly endless, but my main goal was to take this space from a stark white and boring to a fun colorful floral bathroom our girls would feel happy in, every time they stepped through the door.
FLORAL BATHROOM REMODEL: THE BEFORE
I knew I wanted gold accents for all the hardware, and I was seriously blown away by all the options. These faucets were the first items I settled on (and fell in love with!) and the rest space came together around them. I liked the idea of having a contrast between the cabinet color and the wallpaper. Though the peach for the cabinets was an easy choice, I stepped WAY out of my comfort zone with the green wallpaper. It’s definitely wilder than is typical for us, but I wanted one space in our house to have a true ‘wow’ factor. And what better space for that, then the girl’s bathroom?
The finishing touches were my favorite to put together. I am obsessed with hanging plants lately and these planters felt beyond perfect for above the toilet area. Speaking of which, we really went the extra mile here and got the TOTO Washlet Seat from Wayfair which is a true game changer. You literally can’t go back to a regular toilet after adding the TOTO to your life. There is an air dryer, a heated seat (my favorite part) and even an odor neutralizer. It just takes your bathroom to a whole other level.

Every time I walk into this space now, I feel giddy……and also want to keep adding more personal touches and details, like these gold frames we filled with the same wallpaper to carry over the leaf motive to the other parts of the room. And I love so much that the girls are truly excited about this room now. They keep saying “this is OUR bathroom?” every time I rally them in, to brush their teeth or take a bath. So excited to move onto more rooms in our home, with newly found confidence and of course the best help from Wayfair!
