Tis the season, for my favorite holiday of the year! Yup, it’s not Christmas, it’s New Year’s!  Sequins aside, (though they are a big part of it) when I was growing up in Belarus, New Year’s was actually celebrated in the same way that Christmas is celebrated in the US. We opened our gifts under the tree on New Year’s Eve morning but also had a big late-night party with sparklers at midnight. So, the day was just BIG all around from start to finish. I think that magical feeling must have stuck with me, because now even all these years later and living in the US for over 20 years, I still get so excited for the last day of the year.

With the excitement, must come the fashion! I love a good sparkle for my New Years Eve outfit as much as the next girl but wanted to bring you some NYE styling with a twist. This gold jumpsuit from Modcloth stopped me in my tracks and I knew I wanted to dedicate a blog post to it, as well as find more unique NYE options to share with you guys.

A jumpsuit is my favorite thing to dress up, because it gives you the freedom to feel just a bit more comfortable than any dress can ever deliver, while turning up the glam factor even more. After all what’s more chic that a fabulous jumpsuit?

Without further a due here are more fab finds. Now my plan for this NYE as with the 6 before will be hosting our friends at home, along with our kiddos and celebrating “East Coast Feed Style” as we call it. Aka everyone has kids, and no one is staying up until 2am and dancing on the table…. ok the kids might. Our rule is usually ‘come in your PJs and enjoy some fancy champagne’ but this year I’m really thinking I might just pair my slippers with this fab jumpsuit. Talk about a win win!
