Last week I had the pleasure of joining some of my favorite San Francisco ladies at a fabulous brunch hosted by Sarah Tripp of Sassy Red Lipstick and Le Marais bakery. I knew this would be a special treat the minute I walked in the door to find Sarah, adoringly wrapping the last of the gorgeous goodie bags she had prepared for everyone.
Tamryn Miller (@Wannabefashionblogger, my longtime SF blogger BFF) and I joined in to help as we compared our accidentally perfectly matched looks. The three of us have hit it off ever since our first lunch together in San Francisco a few years ago and we’ve been blogger besties ever since.
As we completed all the finishing touches more ladies started to arrive. It ended up being 12 of us all together (including our fabulous photographer Alexis Adams Exstrom) and as I looked around the light filled room, I thought to myself how happy I was that this little blog journey of mine has afforded me the opportunity to meet so many amazing women in my community. Each person at this table is so inspiring, creative, hardworking and unique, that a conversation with each one of these ladies left me feeling so full of energy and drive to take leaps forward. To seek new adventures and most importantly to not set any limits for myself in any aspect of my life.
It’s tough to carve out the time for these special moments but I guess this is what makes them so special in the first place. To just be with your girls, chat about anything and everything and have some amazing food all at once! Can’t wait for the next one!
