Holiday Decorating Tips
The holidays are finally here and in my house that means it’s time to decorate! I spend so much time each season deciding on what the colors and ‘feel’ will be, and have the best time shopping for every little detail. This year I headed straight to eBay and want to share my finds with you guys.
I went for a ‘light and airy with touches of gold’ vibe and was able to find a ton of options from dinnerware to wreaths and garlands, many of which shipped for free. I will usually search by category like dinnerware or flatware and then enjoy perusing all the options, so I can compare favorites.
I love a well put together place setting, and have a bit of a charger obsession. Thus the big buffet in our dining room, to house all my finds. Napkins are another great inexpensive way to update your holiday decor. Whether going for a classic style or something festive, it’s an easy way to add color or texture. Since I am using simple beige napkins here I opted for adding a little sparkle on top with the gold star ornaments.
This year the beginning of the holidays feel extra special because the girls are old enough to really want to help. Grace loves to decorate with me and is getting her own little mini tree to ‘style’ so look out for more home posts with my little decorators soon!
