There is something about San Francisco at the tail end of summer, when it finally gets warm and the usual bone chilling wind turns into a flirty breeze, that gives it a sort of magical “anything can happen” feeling. Maybe it’s my own memories of starting to date my now hubby Eric during the fall months, and how magical that first year was for us. Getting lost in little restaurants, talking outside late into the night. Some of my favorite memories are from this time of the year in the city.
Sadly, so many parts of SF have become, well, less than magical in the past years, but I still love a stroll all the way at the top of the hills in Pac Heights, where you truly feel like you’re on top of the world. The view of the ocean on every corner is incredible and I could get lost for hours, strolling past the stunning architecture of the old-world homes on those streets, wondering about all the life that has happened in them. It’s usually my go-to area for photoshoots because there is something beautiful literally on every block. If you are planning a visit to SF, I recommend getting up to this area and getting a dose of “old world San Francisco”. This exact location is on Broadway St, between Broderick and Divisadero.
Now onto the fashion of it all. This pop of color plus trench look was giving me all the Carrie, wandering around NYC vibes. The trench is by Aje, and these pearls are literally giving me life!
