I won’t tout myself as a beauty expert by any means, and until I hit my 30s I honestly saw the beauty industry as a bit of a rip off. Ah, to be young and naïve again, aka having collagen to spare!
I slowly started getting into beauty products in a real way about 3 years ago and once I saw the true difference a good beauty routine can make, I was hooked! In the past year I have tried countless products and wanted to share my favorites with you guys.
This list is a tried and true, top favorite round up that I have used at the very least once a week and some daily, in 2018.

ELEMIS FOAMING FACIAL WASH
This one is the newbie in the bunch and yet became a favorite the second I tired it for the first time. I’m kind of a cleanser snob and this one a) is not drying b) smells amaaaaazing! c) takes make-up off so well. Basically meets all of my requirements.
ROSE QUARTZ FACIAL ROLLER
At first I honestly didn’t understand what all the roller hype was all about but damn, this thing really works! One, it just feels so good. Kind of like a deep tissue massage for your face and I have read countless reviews about all of the benefits of this little blush goodie.
HYDRA-GEL EYE PATCHES
Ok guys, this one is at the very top of my list. Throw it in your refrigerator and thank me in the morning. Um, especially on those morning after a night out when you feel like a complete hot mess. Takes that not so glam pup away in 20 minutes and just feels so good and fresh on your under eyes.
CLARK’S BOTANICALS DEEP MOISTURE MASK
Ah you guys, this one is just a game changer. Especially if you have dry skin, this ultra thick moisture rich mask is a miracle worker. You can also use it as a moisturizer by applying a thin layer. Brilliant!
STEM CELLULAR EXFOLIATING PEEL SPRAY
I had to use this twice the first time, because I couldn’t believe the sight of my ‘dead/funky’ skin actually coming off. Don’t let the spray part scare you, it actually made the peel easier to use. This didn’t dry out my skin and really does feel like you’ve got a brand new layer going after regular use.
GLOW RECIPE AVOCADO SLEEP MASK
The avocado is actually the perfect way also describe this sleeping mask. It is rich AF and I have become addicted to using it. One downside is I tend to sleep on my face so it’s a bit of a hot mess situation on my pillow. Try to apply about an hour before going to bed. I’ve found it gives it time to soak in a bit.
Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C(TM) Power Eye Cream
Hands down my favorite eye cream. I saw very fast results with this and I love how thick it is. One downside, gotta be honest the scent is a little clinical. But weirdly that also makes me feel like ‘its the deal deal!’
COLORESCIENCE HYDRATING MIST
I find myself sneaking upstairs on weekends for an extra spray of this goodness. This is one of those products I would have never purchased a few years ago but ah, it just feels so damn good! Great over make-up and as a little hydro booster through out the day!
Elemis Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil
I have very quickly become a huge fan of Elemis all around, but let me tell you, this night cream oil is LIFE. My absolute favorite lately. Could not recommend this one any more! It overdelivers on the hydration yet somehow feels really light on your skin.
TRUE BOTANICALS Renew Pure Radiance Face Oil
You may have seen me gush about this oil on my IG stories and I have been truly obsessed with it for the past 3 months. I use it at nigh and during the day and it has been amazing on my dry skin. One downside is that I did see some breakouts on my chin when using daily.
Peter Thomas Roth Max Mineral Naked Broad Spectrum SPF 45
If I only had to take one beauty product with me on a deserted island this would be it! I use this every single day and have annoyed friends and family with facts on why they need this too. Works on any skin tone and you can use it under make up or on it’s on since its tinted so provides a bit of coverage.
OLAY FRESH RESET PINK MINERAL COMPLEX CLAY FACE MASK STIC
This is my go-to travel mask! The brilliant ‘stick’ applicator is kind of an on the go game changer. In fact, I usually would never dream of packing a mask on a trip and this one has pretty much stayed in my little carry on beauty bag since September. Mess free and makes your skin feel super fresh.
ZO SKIN HEALTH COMPLEXION RENEWAL PADS
Zo Skin Health was the first product I ever purchased that made me feel like I was reallyy adulating with my skin care. It is LEGIT. These pads are beyond great and I have been using them for two years now.
SKINCEUTICALS C E FERULIC VITAMIN C SERUM
If you are not on the Skinceuticals train, you need to get a monthly pass asap because it is a game changer! Worth every penny and delivers the fastest results I’ve honestly ever seen. I use this along with the HYALURONIC ACID INTENSIFIER
LALICIOUS – The Body Butter
Butter is right on! This yummy body butter is my go-to and I use it after every single shower. Love this brand and their high quality goodies across the board.
ZOSKIN HEALTH INVISAPEEL
I have been using this ‘mini peel’ for over a year and love the results. It is not too intense but you can definitely see a big difference after a fairly short time. I would recommend using along with retinol products from ZO.
Glytone Clarifying Enhance Night Renewal Cream
Came for the peel, stayed for the amazing night cream. This product line offers such a huge variety, with a focus on their at home and in office peels (see more on my review here) but I was pleasantly surprised that their ‘after care’ products would turn out to be some of my very favorite of the year. Love their cleanser too!
ZO SKIN HEALTH EXFOLIATING POLISH
Last but very much not least, this is the only exfoliator I use and has been second year running. It is so fine and gentle on your skin while somehow kicking your ass on the exfoliation scale. I could go on and on about ZO….big fan, BIG fan.
