Happy Friday loves! There are so many swoon worthy trends this winter, I wanted to put together a mini trend guide with what I am crushing on the most. While we can't fill our closets with every trend out there, I think choosing a few favorites and buying that perfect statement making trend piece, goes a long way each season. THE LEATHER SKIRT
This is such a winter staple for me. Paired with a chunky sweater, it is the chicest way to stay warm and make a statement during the winter months. From mini to pleated, pencil to aline, it’s truly hard to pick just one!
THE OVERSIZED SWEATER
Cozy meets trendy, that’s all I need to hear to make the oversized sweater my go to for daily wear. And it is the perfect pairing with the leather mini!
EMBROIDER IT
I’m all about ‘more is more’ and the embroidered trend is the perfect way to make a true style statement. Just be careful to not over do it. Keep to just one embroidered piece at a time. Big trends like this one, there is a very fine line of chic to gaudy.
STATEMENT BOOTIES
I can’t get enough of this trend and the possibilities as truly endless! Every designer is putting out their version of the fun statement bootie and the hardest part is choosing just one….or five! My advice is, look at your closet. What is your go to color palette? What fabrics and pieces do you normally gravitate to?
If denim and a chunky sweater is your daily uniform, then go as crazy as you want - as this is almost a blank canvas combo. If you already have a lot of statement pieces you incorporate into your weekly rotation, don't go too crazy on the bootie embellishments. Maybe just a bright color is enough, minus the jewels and the sparkle.
