As soon as I found out that our annual family Father’s Day trip would be to Palm Sprigs this year, I got to work finding out the address for the famous Pink Door house. It’s so famous in fact, it has it’s own Instagram handle: @thatpinkdoor. After a good laugh at my fashion blogger silliness, my hubby agreed to put it on the agenda. We decided to make this shoot part of our date night out while in the desert so we could really explore and take our time. When we pulled up to the house I let out a little squeal. Ah, it was even more fabulous in person! Eric said, “how funny would it be if the door would open and a fabulous could would say, ‘oh, hello, we’ve been waiting for you. Here’s a glass of champagne!” He is too much :). I have been saving this beautiful caftan dress from H&M for this shoot, because I thought the pastel colors would be absolutely perfect together. Unfortunately it’s sold out online, but is still available in stores. I also put together a few more flowy favorites above, with links to the rest of the look.
