The neon trend has been going strong for a while now and I’m glad to see it still holding on. I wrote about it in one of my Fashion Diary articles (read it here) a few months back and although my opinion was that it is a passing thing, what I have realized is that if it is the right item, it can have a very happy long life. Enter J Crew. First of all, they can’t do wrong in my book with anything they’ve ever produced, but I am specifically impressed with what they’ve done with this bright theme. They smartly used it in classic pieces, like an aline skirt and a simple crossover bag, which are sure to become closet staples for years to come, thus helping to keep the neon shining bright much longer than it may have. So dim your screens because you’ll be sure to see these items popping up on my blog again and again, maybe even into the fall/winter seasons.
