Happy Mother’s Day to all my fellow Fairy moms! Here’s to all the magical moments, sleep deprived and unexpected. To all the messy kisses, the kind when they grab your whole face while giving you the biggest best smooch! To the pursuit of special milestones, and trying so hard not to rush time. Then to trying to make it stop all together when you find yourself in that ultimate mom bliss. Those are the moments that make all the crazy ones completely worth every minute.
We took the girls on a Fairy hunt ‘in a magical field’ to see if we could discover some fairies that live there…..and get some good family photos. Grace even brought her magnifying glass along to help with the search. We skipped and frolicked and had the best time!
It really ended up being quite a magical time. Our outfits by Little Blue Fairy were what really got us into the Fairy hunting mood. I have such a connection to this brand, it makes a shoot like this, with our whole family that much more special. Little Blue Fairy is owned by two women, who make each piece by hand in San Francisco. Isn’t that amazing?! So much love goes into all of the details of each dress, wand and even the flower crowns, which Tanya Gyani (one of the owners, who also has a floral and design company) intricately put together. Every item tells a story and they have some exciting projects in the works, one of which is a children’s book, based on Lala, a little stuffed animal mouse in the collection. Take a look at their whimsical pieces. If you have daughters, I promise you they will love every girly option!
Mom – I love you!! Thank you for everything you do each and every day. For me, for my girls, for our family. You are the pretty glue that holds all of us together! I love you.
Happy Mother’s Day!
