The last time we had a whimsical family fall photoshoot was when Charlie was about 3 years old. You would think that with me being a blogger, we’d have tons of family photos but with Eric either being behind the camera or me just running out of the house to shoot fashion looks alone, family photos are few and far in between for this crew. So, when Meghan, the owner of Parker Grace Events suggested a little fall picnic theme, as we were brainstorming ideas for a shoot some weeks ago, I thought “yes, it’s about time for more family photos!” From there, it was full steam ahead. Meghan worked with her amazing team of vendors and came up with what turned out to be a truly magical experience.
Stella Yang, who is a wedding photographer, also owns Cali Picnics, a glam picnic company which provides the most beautiful whimsical set ups for special events like a proposal, a family shoot like this one or a fun girls day out (which I hope is in my near future!) Next were all the chic picnic essentials, from absolutely divine florals to vintage inspired table scape and the most gorgeous mini cakes I’ve ever seen!
My favorite part was that this was an all-women owned team effort! All the vendors are local small business owners with incredible talent and it was so special for me to be a part of this day.
