I don’t notice just how much I am always on the go until I stop for a minute, which is a rare occasion. To sit down with a magazine for 15 minutes seems like an unlikely vacation. Or it was, until Eric and I planned a little getaway staycation this past weekend.
I packed some favorite cozy pieces to lounge in, including my new Enbliss underwire bras from Soma and the softest Cool Nights robe. I was actually giddy with excitement to just “chill.” Between work and our girls, our house is literally never quiet, and my stack of unopened magazines has slowly grown to mountain like proportions. When Eric asked me what I was most excited for during our staycation, my answer was immediate. “To sit in bed in my robe, with a coffee and zero noise, and read Elle Décor.” It’s the little things people!
I do want to touch on my favorite Soma finds, as these pieces are just beyond perfect to snuggle up in, but also wear for all day support. I have always struggled with finding a bra which I didn’t dream of finally taking off at the end of the day. You know what I’m talking about. That moment when you finally get home from work and the first thing you reach for is undoing that bra hook and breathing a sigh of relief. Soma is truly different. They are behind the movement of making women feel comfortable in their bra all day, while at the same time creating pieces that are beautiful. That’s a combo I can get behind.
