This light and airy Anthropologie dress is like a little piece of heaven. And like many pieces from this great company, it comes with a pretty hefty price, so when investing in such a piece I always think “How many ways can I style this?” A dress like this is perfect to wear for any special occasion, but can you then wear it in ‘real life?’ So I wanted to show it here, styled into a more casual look. Something that is still on the dressy side, but won’t make you feel too overdressed while you are grabbing brunch or going out during the day with your girlfriends. A thin knit is always my ‘go to’ when pairing down a dressy dress. Throw it on, and you’ve added both comfort, warmth and a bit of casual flare to any dress. Make sure your sweater is not too thick as to not overwhelm the look. Although I am wearing pumps here, a pair of wedges always work great to give a dressy dress a more casual look.
