Happy Friday friends! I am so excited to bring you today’s “how to style” post, featuring this super affordable statement top from Shein. I originally wasn’t planning on choosing it for a Friday Five feature, but after showing it to you on IG stories, I got so many messages saying you ordered one and to please share styling ideas, that I had to give it a Friday Five moment! I love a piece like this because while it may seem over the top, it is actually very versatile. It works great as a base to build a look around. Think of a piece like this as your statement maker, so the rest of the outfit is sort of an accessory to it. I love it with distressed jeans and heels or a whimsical tulle skirt. So many styling possibilities for any season! I also love how affordable it, under $20! The black wrap around belt on it is sewn on at the center of the back, but I actually ended up removing it (super simple to cut off at the seam with manicure scissors!). I felt that by removing the belt, the top becomes even more versatile. So, there’s that little style tip, if you order the top! You can still use the fabric belt easily, as it just wraps around the waist! I hope you like these looks and happy styling!
