Tassels are having a major moment for fall, and naturally, I’m all in! From jewelry and handbags to scarves, skirts and beautifully embellished evening pieces, tassels are getting elevated this fall. With moodier colors and rich fabrics surrounding them, think polished glamor vs bohemian vibe. Vogue is calling out tassel details as one of the key accessory trends for pre-fall.
What I love most is the movement they bring to an outfit. I actually hand sewed more tassels onto this asymmetrical Asos skirt and then layered it over a marigold satin skirt. I mean the “more is more” moto is in full effect for me when it comes to tassels! And this is one of those trends that works at every price point. You can go all in with a statement designer piece or simply add a tasseled accessory for a little nod to the trend. This Zara hue is so good! For me, it’s the perfect kind of fall detail: a little nostalgic, a little glamorous, and never too serious. Tassel time, indeed.
