Looking through these photos I think this might be one of my all time favorite shoots. Mainly because what I thought was a ruined plan for a perfect back drop, actually ended up coming together better than the original plan. When this gorgeous purple vintage dream of a dress from Crush Vintage showed up at my door, I immediately knew where I wanted to shoot the photos for it’s post. My dad/amazing photographer and I met at “Miette” one of my favorite San Francisco spots for everything sweet. I picked this as the setting for this shoot because I thought the tables and chairs that they usually have set up outside would match this dress perfectly. (see here) To my dismay, turns out they put those perfect tables and chair away at 6pm every night and we got there at 5:58. Oops! Peonies in hand, I was seriously bummed out. But when you have no other choice, go to plan B. And we did. Shooting inside Miette, (which turned out to be a treat in itself, as the staff couldn’t be nicer and we got to rummage through all the treats!), finding the perfect little pink wall around the corner, exploring the neighborhood and ending up at La Boulange down the street for some coffee and macarons as a finale to our little impromptu adventure. Hope you enjoy these colorful photos and this amazing vintage dress as much as I enjoyed creating this post.
